Anna
Ms. Anna is a classically-trained ballet instructor with over 20 years of ballet and teaching experience. She graduated from the prestigious Shanghai Dance School and went on to teach in Taiwan and in the United States. Anna majored in classical ballet, Chinese folk dance, modern dance, folk dance and physical training. She studied with the world-reknowned ballet dancer and national first-class artist, Yang Xing-Hua.
Anna‘s dance repertoire includes: “Swan Lake”, “Coppelia”, “White Haired Girl”, “The Nutcracker”, “Don Quixote”, “Napoli”, “Sleeping Beauty”, and other classical ballet performances. As a student in Shanghai Dance School, she performed at several national events and national ceremonies which included ballet, contemporary, modern dance, and Chinese folk dance. And participated in the opening ceremony of the 2001 Shanghai International APEC Summit.In 2001, she was selected to be an exclusive dancer in the Shanghai Teacher's Greenery Art Troupe. The troupe collaborated with Yang Xin-hua, Shanghai Education TV Station, and Shanghai TV Station to represent the Shanghai Dance School at cultural exchanges, dance performances, and a documentary video.
Anna received a Master of Arts Management from Eastern Michigan University in 2011 and founded Anna Ballet and Dance in 2014. She is currently the co-founder and artistic director of Inner-Action Dance.
